book "Let the living remember» highlights during the Great Patriotic War - a short time in the life of Sudak and its inhabitants. But this is truly tragic and heroic pages, reflecting the history of our people, a very recent past, which must be preserved for posterity.

In the first part of the book is presented history of Sudak : the prewar period, the temporary occupation by the Nazis, guerrilla news, the landing of the Kerch Feodosia-landing, the liberation by Soviet troops and the revival of the war-shattered economy. Each chapter is illustrated by the eyewitness of the events described. The second part collected essays on sudakchanah - participants terrible battles and memories of World War II veterans.
